I’ve been a sci-fi fan for forever, but only really got stuck into The Next Generation just before lockdown. DS9, Voyager, Discovery and Lower Decks quickly followed, but TNG for me remains head and shoulders above the rest. I love the joy – I love the escapism afforded by the unashamed joy and humour within each episode.  The timeline and society it inhabits is one so far removed from the current world – no money, no war, science and fact above all else, comradeship and acceptance of the sometimes downright ridiculous – nothing seems impossible. What’s not to love?

TNG is happy escapism at its finest – just don’t mention the Borg.

My picture is an amalgamation of two of my favourite things, Fleetwood Mac & TNG. I remember scrambling for Google when I first saw Mick Fleetwood’s name appear on the screen in ‘Manhunt.’ Could it be?! It’s Trek. Of course it could. So we’ve got Antedian Rumours featuring Troi. The most ridiculous, joyful piece of work I’ve ever made.
