I got into TNG a little late. It wasn’t until my Mum took me and my brother to see Generations at the theater, followed by a visit to the Star Trek Exhibition in Edinburgh, that I discovered the show. I didn’t look back after that. I bought all the VHS tapes of the episodes, and all the books and model kits I could find! I was particularly drawn to Data – he just looked so cool and he seemed to me to be the character that everyone revolved around (sorry Picard).

 

I wanted to pay tribute to Data for my piece. It started with the large portrait of him as the main component. I included a bunch of memorable moments from his history, contained within simplified LCARS shapes (seen on his control panel), to round it all off.
