Space: The final frontier. These were the voyages of the Starship Enterprise and what a voyage it was.

The next generation is a show that like many I hold so close to my heart. A show growing up that taught me values of kindness, being open minded and working together. I  genuinely believe there is an episode for everyone on planet Earth to enjoy and connect with.

For my entry to the TNG35ART I decided I couldn’t do a specific character, scene, episode or one general design, so I opted to draw the ensemble of our beloved main crew and regular guest stars. I placed the headshots within the Starfleet delta and then used the other star of the show the Enterprise herself to make it appear like the TNG comm badge. All this is then overlaid with the names of all 178 episodes and then the ever so slight gaze of Q himself.

I really cannot emphasis enough how much TNG affected me and my childhood and I look back with fond memories watching episodes in my bedroom. Even today the intro makes the hair on my arms stand on end and transport me back as if I’m watching for the first time again.

I do hope you all enjoy my entry as much as I have enjoyed seeing everyone’s work and would like to thank Ste for putting on an amazing tribute, so awesome it’s worthy of song over some blood wine.
