I made the piece because as much as I love Data, I didn’t think I’d have the skills to really do him justice. So, being more familiar with drawing animals, I decided to do a cute anthro twist on his kitty, Spot!
As for why I love TNG? Data. That android means the absolute world to me, and he’s my most favourite Star Trek character of all ever. I was introduced to the character at a really difficult time in my life, and holding onto him the way I did helped me make it through with my sanity in tact. That was a while ago, but Data still means very much to me to this day!
